Losi Smart Diffs questions

I've had the center one in my buggy for a few months and like it. I recently added the front one and have a couple of questions.

1) With both of them out of the buggy, the front Smart Diff has more resistance when rotating it by hand than the center Smart Diff does. It's new, so I wonder if it will loosen up as it is used over time. Or is it an internal gearing thing?

2) I like a lot of off-power turning. I use 2K diff fluid in the rear at the expense of on-power stability. Since I now have both Smart Diffs, do you suppose I can go with heavier diff fluid in the rear?

Thanks in advance.

SD thread

Check out the SD thread many pages good info yes the diffs in my opinion take time too break-in make sure you check your SD diffs on a regular basis thou I change all my bearing at the 1 gallon mark along with all my diffs fluids. Also fill the diff up with the SD grease don't be shy was having a problem with mine Drake was right he told me too fill just before the pour over limit problem solved front tires were ballooning like pancakes.
