Default AE Brake Discs

Hey Guys, I'm trying to get some new brake discs for my sc8 which i assume would be the same ones as the rc8. Well anyways my LHS doesn't have any and they say there distributor Horizon doesn't have any and there isn't a ETA on them either. So what i'm wondering is if there is something else that will work? Maybe a losi part or aftermarket or?

Mugen will fit, tell your LHS that GP has them in stock. GP is a better supplier for AE parts than Horizon is. Most of all your LHS deal with GP.

I never really cared for the stock Associated discs.

Seems like they used pot metal for the heatsink.

The new Losi composite discs fit like a glove, but they do require a little dremel work on the outer brake pad.

the stock ones are made by thunder tiger if you want to look in there stuff and want stock. but i would go to carolinas R/C and look in the closeout and get the advantage for $5.00 they work good.
