Default different carb on a v spec

i think that i may have a carb problem on my vspec. i've tried tuning it til the cows come home with now luck, the only needle i have not touch is the mid range. it sounds like it motor is chocking up and will only run if i stay wot. i don't want to spend the $ on another carb and it not b the problem. so will any other carb fit on this motor so i can see if it is a carb issue.or maybe someone can tell me the stock needle settings including the mid range needle. this way i can see if its way out.

Only bad tuning or an airleak would cause it to damage the motor.

I have never used a Nova carb on an OS but I have used an OS carb on a Nova motor with great success.
