that overdose stand is money. Very heavy duty and folds up nicely. well worth the money. I bought one at ihobby in Chicago.

The only thing I don't like about it is that it could probably be 1 inch wider or so for a little bit better stability, but so far the best stand I have owned thus far.

Truggy wheels work great and so do tupperware containers.

It looks great, I'm going to try one for sure! Finding a stand is sturdy and that works well for truggies with the tires on is not an easy task. The only thing missing is the ability to rotate your vehicle as you work on it.

How sturdy is the stand with a truggy & wheels on? Bump it with an elbow gettin something out of your box, will it tip or stay up?

Looks like it's height adjustable, folds flat, looks pretty heavy duty.

Haha, check out the name: THE CAR STAND I guess that's straightforward. :P

Anyone heard of OverdoseRacing ? It looks like they got something.

Another thumbs up for the Duratrax stand. Inexpensive, folds up flat, swivels.

And it will hold up to a truggy. And you can even buy it in purple to help with theft prevention.

Don't you just love it when a rc company re-bags and
doubles the price on a guitar stand? I have found that
GMK Supply does this on most of the rc items that they
offer.

LOL, that right there is some funny sh*t.

Edit: Just checked out Overdoses sight and looks like they dumped a little $$$ into marketing with the booth, shirts, fancy boxes etc. Margins down the pipe once people realize the above...The internet is a funny thing.

the difference i see between the overdose stand and the guitar stand is that the guitar stand only goes down to 6" and it looks to sit at an angle also. The overdose says it goes as lower and it sits level, anyone bought one of the guitar foot stands?

There are some of the guitar foot stands that sit level, its just a matter of finding it. I got one that sits at a slight angle at the lowest setting and think it is good. The angle allows you to lower one end of the car to get a better view, or raise one end. It isn't much of an angle so the car won't slide off. It also wouldn't be very hard to drill out the rivets and make the angle adjustable.

For 8 bucks it is worth it. But in defense of GMK and Overdose which are mentioned here, they do take the time to research the products and find the best ones that work for RC. Sure most of the GMK products are marked way up, but usually the products are exactly right for the application. The same could be said for Tony's Screws (or any other company that buys screws and bolts in bulk and repackages them), and even the little tubes of grease we use for our cars. These are all products from bulk supply and then repackaged.
