Unfortunately the weather's been pretty good here in hawaii. . . The bad part is that work and my g/f's kids soccer season has kept me away from the track for about 2-3 months. Season is ending soon, so hopefully will have a small window to get some runs in. Hopefully things are doing better for you, especially with work and all. Thank you very much for doing all you do for D8/D8T owners. If you are ever in Hawaii, shoot us a pm before you come down.

Can anyone post some pics of his products? My computer is being a turd and won't open his photobucket account. I am taking ownership of a new D8 here shortly and would like to get some good parts for it. Thanks in advance.

Thanks Smiley. Any idea how much of a weight savings of his parts? One other question do you make the dirt guards or did you buy them somewhere?

the towers are a couple grams heavier each, but they are so much more durable so its worth it.

second the question on the mud guards

wieghts for the buggy towers are:
stock front: 22g
6mm front: 22g
stock rear: 23g
6mm rear: 26g
HB extended rear: 27g
6mm extended rear: 33g
there is some weight gain with the rear towers, but they were designed to be strong and not let you down.
chassis before milling is 390g after mill 305g
drivetrain milling nets about 30-35g weight loss

Sorry Shawn, I'm a govt employee and we're getting furloughs. For now, it means more time to do things around the house, but soon it should add up to more play time too. Hope you are doing well, especially with your primary job. I know a couple months ago you were hitting some leaner times, but that it started to turn around a bit. If you ever have a chance to come down, you gotta see the track the guys here have put together. Right on the water front, and an awesome layout. Awesome pictures and good job on putting down the weight of parts you work on cause they look good too. I'm thinking I'm gonna need to send you some outdrives to work on cause the HB ones while light, have hollow shafts which are a concern to me. I'll pm you when I'm ready to send them to you for work. Thanks again.
