I run a MBX6 with a speed and the ebmods pipe efra 2041. I have always gotten 10 min at least. I just ran a 10min quailifier in my last race with no stop, I easily had another minute left in the tank. I run Byrons 30%/11% with a 8 restrictor. I would say either your tune is off or something else is wrong. Of couse run time are directly related to what kind of tracks you are running on and driving style.

I just started breaking in a Novarossi P5XLT last weekend. Has 1/2 Gallon on it so far, The last tank of the day I timed it. Ran out of fuel @ 8:48, Only running 188 out of fuel. It was Super Rich on the Bottom, and Slightly Rich on the top. I was using the 7.5mm Restrictor as well. I'm going out tomorrow to run it some more to get it all broke in for the Rc Pro Int. Finals next week. So, Sunday I'm putting in the 6.5mm Restrictor and trying a new batch of fuel. Sidewinder just sent me some of the Prototype Fuel to test out.

As I have reported in our thread and in the Alpha engines thread.

I have run 10+ minutes (and up to 11:45) with both the F850 & Z852 Alpha engines using Prime 30% fuel and 8mm restrictors without reducing the EPA both in truggy and buggy during A main race conditions.

The big one was at the Nitro Pit during the NXWC during qualifying we ran the whole 10 minutes plus the first lap (going from pit lane to loop) and still had 10cc in the tank after the run twice.

Locally here at Hemet I TQ'd and won with 1 pit stop during the 20 minute main and ARC I qualified 3rd and pitted once during the 20 minute main and lead most of the way until I broke a tie rod end with 10 seconds to go dropping me to 3rd. Afterword at each we still had 6-8cc left in the tank.

These engines list for around $210. And the longevity has been great so far. I now have over 3 gallons on each and are still getting the mileage & power as they were new.

I am running a NR limited 3 port with a 6 mmm venturi..I`m getting 12 minute run times(med- small track) and over 10 minutes on a very large track with just over a gallon on the engine..Engine is running slightly fat still..Its also starting to get cold here which will hurt run times to..I really interested in seeing how much run time I will be able to get when the out side temp get warm and I can lean it out a little more..I`m also not lacking anything in the power deparment as well

As it gets colder out, You need to use a smaller Restrictor. The air is much more rich, Which makes the engine run leaner. To tame down the engine and get more run time, Use a smaller Restricor. Just a tip!

I run a AXE Rossi Mamba X1 motor and ColdFusion 30% and have been getting 12 1/2 to 13 min with #8 Restrictor. I think most of it is the Fuel i was only getting 11min to 11 1/2 with my old fuel and now that i run ColdFusion i can lean my motor more and have been getting way more run time. THANKS ColdFusion

Like others have mention, fuel mileage/runtime has alot of variables. Almost impossible to say which engine is the best for runtime, unless you have all engines strapped into same chassis with same setup and track. I'm pretty sure someone will have enough money to throw around to accomplish that, lol. My Ninja JX .21 in a MBX6 got over 13mins in a indoor track to getting around 9-10mins in an outdoor track.
