Once again, the title of the thread is "truggy servo".

It IS an open forum, so people WILL state their opinions.

Funny thing about people, they see what the want to see.

I don't like Futaba servos, I prefer Hitec.

Does that put me on the Hitec bandwagon?

It's all good.

Take a pill, have a Coke and a smile and walk away from the keyboard if other's opinions bother you that much.

its not that people opinons bother me its that every thread goes off of the original topic. the OP was asking about a specific question about a FUTABA servo and people post hitec blah blah blah...now if he said what servo is the best then by all means lets all go at it with our guns blazing...but when someone asks about a specific product or items lets talk about that item

On this servo I would be concerned about current draw. Looking at the extra weight makes me think that extra .2 oz is all servo motor. As for will it work I would be inclined to say yes.

It dosen't matter too much if it say's airplane servo if it fit's you can use. it will do the same thing and most likely center better.

In my opinion you need something with over 200oz.in+ minimum and I like the speed to be .15 or less. I usually run 300oz.in or more. I run and would recommend the Hitec 7955TG.

+1 on min of 200 oz and .15 sec. I go way overboard with the hitec 7950 it has 486 oz and .12 on a 2s lipo but man do thy work very well. Only one race onthe 7950 but I don't forsee any issues. I also have neve had any issues with the hitec 7955 I ran for 8 months and last year I ran a 9100t all year long without issues. I did have a bearig go out on the 9100 but it still worked it was just sloppy. I do perfer hitec to any other brand. Just my newfound opinion.
