I would just bake them off - I just did 8 wheels - it took about an hour to get them all off.

I preheat the oven to 350* - using an old cookie sheet - I place 4 wheels at a time - place them in the center for 10 to 15 minutes. Then using oven mitts and an old wooden spoon. I take them out and break the beads.

Flip them over and place them back in for another 10 plus minutes - then break the other bead.

Let cool - remove tires and foams - clean rims and prep for gluing.

Baking wheels off leaves Glue on the tire's and rims....without removing that Hard baked on glue your new tires with never sit pretty on the rims or vise versa is your re-using the tires or w/e your doing.

Acetone is by far the easiest with least chance of screwing up.

I just tried the acetone and WOW was is good. Now I did leave it for a couple of days as I was too buy to work on my RC's so when I went to take off the tires they basically fell off. the glue was yellow and very soft where I could just peel it off the bead and rims with no effort.

I'm glad I tried this method

I just put some in a baby food jar in the bottom of a 4 L (1 Gal) IceCream Tub and sealed it. Put it outside and left it for a couple of days. it fits 4 buggy tires
