been out for awhile. best nitro motors????
hey all. i took a break from the rc scene for a bit and came back to it this summer. i ran brushless thsi year but with a lack of local guys to race with i am going back to nitro. already have a mbx6t but i am having a hard time deciding which mill to run. should i go high end, os speed spec 2, middle of the road,, the new reedy or go cheap like the go techs? basically i havent seen what is performing and for what price to get that performance. my last motor was a modded v spec which i loved. anyway does anybody have any recomendations? thanks.

A modified Picco EVO3 is my recommendation....Faster andmore powerful then a OS Speed and priced much better

a Modded picco wont let you down in truggy....Way more power then a Speed and 1/2 the price.

I love my ceo modded c6 in my truggy last sunday I got just over 13.5 mins on the tank and still have the plug in the tank on a indoor track thought ...on larger tracks I can go 12 mins all day long.....all while running at 240 or under

But back to the question you asked. The V-spec is still a GREAT motor. The Ninja JX .21 and Speed are now just higher power/more fuel efficient versions of the good ole v-spec. If you like raw power the JX is great. If you like sooth power the speed is amazing. I know nova's and RB's last a long time but neither seems as nice to drive as an OS. I have heard a ton of good things about the Werks B5 especially in the smooth power and run time department. For $200 it looks awesome.

There is NO WAY a picco is better then a Speed. Nor can it reach the reliability of one.
