Tune pipe comparison
Is there a published list anywhere that compares tune pipe's. One that covers most of the brands?

Thats why I posted this question, I am going to run new motors next year and I know what them recommend for a pipe, but I am just wondering if anything I have will be close before I have to spend another 100.00 on one?

Each engine has maybe 3-4 different pipes that work well with them.
The EFRA numbers are just an approval number. Said number no matter the manufacture must be built the same to hold that approval number. There are some good pipes out there that are universal for many engines but are not optimal for performance or mileage. Dependant on what engine you are running I'm sure many here can give you advice and help from their experience. |

A Jammin JP2 or JP3 are probably the best pipe you can buy for any engine, in my opinion.

I want to see a cutaway view of different pipes.

I cary an os 2060, dyn 053, dyn 086 and trinity bad boy pipe. The 053 will work on almost any engine it's not the top end pipe but it usually works verywell. On os engines the os 2060 (efra 2042) isthe only pipe to have great power and great mileage. The trinity pipe has only seen a tank or 2 I personally don't like it. I know guys who run them but not me.

If someone asked me "I need a race pipe and have no idea what .21 engine I have....." I would say to use the JP2 or 3. They work on everything that I've seen. Not the greatest performing pipe and far from being the most efficient....but, |

I carry a 086, 053, 2013, and 2035 everywhere. Between those 4 I feel like I can cover any motor that I may run.

I also run the jp's I have a jp4 on my v spec and I get great mileage, but the top end is a little lite. What I was after was a break down on each pipe and what each one was suppose to do. Like how the dynamite pipe's are set up the 007 is high speed and so on. Or even a list that gives cross reference of numbers like the os 2060 is close to the same as a ???

I can tell you that as far as Dynamite goes
007= low end 053= mid range 086= High end JP1= low JP2= High JP3= more all around tune JP4= similar to the JP3 with an EFRA rating |
