Default Update

Hey Guys,

Updates for world record jump:

1. Still waiting on Guinness World Records to get back to me, with regulations etc, thats looking to be sometime after christmas.

2. I've just invested in a couple miniture wireless cameras to place on the car so you get a view from car level.

3. Its looking promising for a venue, a local school race track, which has a surface of light gravel which is big enough for the jump.

4. Insurance is COVERED!

Was fun calling around for insurance, the response was quite funny:

"You want to do what with what?" - Classic.
"So are you going to be in the car or not?" - Can i fit?
"So its like a motor bike jump?" - Yeah if a car is a bike!

I do agree with Burton, the car needs more weight and not less. I saw these other jumps and the minute the car started to take flight it caught allot of resistance in the air.

Getting the right combination with power/wieght is vital, very few chances to get it correct

Sounds like you have it covered, I would keep in Touch with Burton. They have done alot of work and it may help you from making some mistakes they already have done and he is good about helping the hobby.
