Im stumped, weird problems
I have a brand new sportwerks mayhem, I am breaking in the motor. I put new batts in the reciever batt holder. Ill run thru the kitchen and living room. Every so often ill blip the throttle usually when turning around and it will freeze like you just turned the reciever off. Cycle it and its ok again or ofter like 30 seconds it will reset. It does this with the jr radio, my lynx 3d, and same on my rs4 3 evo and my mantis??????? Even the stock am radio but not quite as badI know I need to go to 2.4 but Im not sure whats going on and till i figure this out I cant run outside. Any thoughts would be appriciated, also the reciever in the mantis is new, got another set of crystals, same thing. I really want to race but i just dont trust the vehicles at the moment and i dont want to put anyone at risk thats not needed.

It isn't the radio, it is the nitro fumes causing you to "fast forward" so it seems like the radio is frozen.
Ummm... yeah... a runaway INSIDE the house would be MUCH better than one outside! Be sure it is pointed at the bigscreen TV when it happens... and make sure you're recording it on video!

I run my car in my living room all the time. I just move my dirty clothes out of the way and put away my riding mower and let her rip. i stay out of the kitchen though, as we breed cats in there and the smell makes my nitro engine tune act weird. I know of some people who run their cars in church... right after service.(ZeroDefect& Grouchy) Who BTW were asked not to bring their cars back.

LOL This isnt something I normally do. I first encountered the problem outside. Checked the servo leads and moved them farther away from the ant lead, so rather than risking a runaway down my drive and possibly hurting someone or something i decided to open the windows, fire her up and make a lap around the living room, which resulted in a runaway, upon further investigation, I found the problem to be my new router.

I would just buy a failsafe just to be safe, so it doesnt runaway.
