I took out my new 2.0 rtr yesterday and broke the throttle servo early. What is a good replacement?

THIS is one of them thread that is never going to give a "correct" answer everyone has their opinion. I prefeer the futaba line..bls351 or the 9351 as long as you get a quality servo and set everyting correct they will all serve you well.

I cant say enough good about the Hitec 7950s. The 7940s should be a bit easier to find now, that would be my preference.

Whatever

Buy whatever frigging servo you want. Most people will disagree with every other post on here, I myself have a Hitec 645MG throttle servo and a 685MG steering servo and they do just fine

pretty much anything with more than 120oz of torque will do the job. Also have a look at this guy http://shop.ebay.com.au/dr350z/m.htm...4&_sop=1&_sc=1 , he gets some great servos in at very good prices and hes super easy to deal with

IMO - Order or go to your LHS and buy some HITEC servos. oh and keep your reciept.... I have brought a few servos off of auction sites and it did not play out well... Dont buy used and unless you know and trust the seller. Over the last year I have spent $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ on servos suggested to me by local racers, including (yes J) a $200 JR HV servo - which for some reason drained my Lipo in the main at my last race in the the springs. I have used JR 9000 series with good results, just dont like the regualtor..... I happend to run into some Hitecs HV and they "seem" to be pretty good.
