Me too, I think truggies look cool..you're not strange, everyone else is.

Losi haters have to give the original 8ight-T props for raising the bar in truggy design and performance. Now nearly everybody has changed their truggy design just to keep up. I think all the top brand names make excellent machines, with their own little differences that set them apart. And now Losi started another trend, a nicer looking truggy body I'm an AE driver giving Losi props.

It reminds me of a goldfish cracker and i hate them too.

Read through the whole thread,
Some pretty funny stuff. I have to admit that when I first saw the Losi 2.0 body I was not a fan of it. After getting one, it kind of grew on me and I prefer the stock Losi body to the JC body. I do think they are an added aid to how the truck/truggy handles. That being said, most Pro guys could show up at a track with vintage 1/8th buggy and still lay the smack down on 95% of the racers there that day.
I recently switched to the RC8T and with the stock body it didn't seem to feel right in the air. It does look more like something you "might" see a variation of at a Desert race, but if it doesn't work well racers will go for what works better. Looks will usually come in second to performance for a racer. I'll give the new Pro-Line body a try and if it works as they claim, all the more better. If not, then the search goes on until the right body is found.
Like many have said, it's your money. Spend it how you choose. Unless you are planning on attending a big sanctioned race event where your body might come into question rules wise, who cares. If you like a body, run it.

Truggy..They are good for:

Runnin over stuff
Runnin over stuff
Runnin over more stuff...

I run truggy cause its fun! I Dont care how pleasing they look..Yes some look more Ugly than others,

If 1/8 scale Buggy was "Scale" then Truggy took the hooker out on a "Date"

race em all!!! If you are fast with a sexy one...you are gonna need clean drawers when you drive a Truggy...

And all other truggies look like huge turtles.

I'd rather have the design that helps performance. Don't you wonder why all the aftermarket companies are now copying the design?
