Default Most informative RC "Racing" Magazine?

Came from the news stand this morning and noticed a few RC related magazines, but none gave me enough info regarding the Racing scene.

Any suggestions for offroad and/or onroad racing?

There are no RC mags in the states that really stay on top of the racing scene. If you can read Italian, I have seen a fantastic mag from there that was exclusively geared towards the racer. Unfortunately, I don't speak Italian. Yet

RC mags mostly review new products and sometimes cover the big races. Fun to read on down time but the net wil give you better race info.

rc car mag is the largest one I think and usually has race coverage, new products, etc...

I thumb threw them at the store while the little lady shops. I think each mag is biased towards certain MFG's and each promotes those MFG's. I just look at the new stuff coming out and the rest is just ads. Neo and this site give me more info than any mag.

Xtreme RC cars is the only mag i read, they have the best info out there, provide you with more of it than any other mag i've read, and accually drive the cars them sevles i've read multiple articles in other mags where the writing handed over the TX to someone else, imo XRC provides the most info about every dicipline of rc, than any other mag, and they don't make ho hum rtr's sound amazing, they'll tell you that hey its a decent truck, but not nearly on par with say a mugen mxb-6T, in short, they tell it to you like it is

and honestly people its not possible for mags to have the most up to date info like you can get off the internet, they can't print everything that comes out 3 days before you get yours, they have to get info/a test vehicle go over the specs, do layout/text/pictures, fit it in with everything else, then print them and ship um out, and for reviews with the dawn of the internet age, we're getting knews about new products as they go into full production, not as tower, amain, stormer, and your LHS is getting them in stock, so a mag can't have the scoop on the new slash 4x4 or savage x ss 5.9 because no one else except the MFG's have them.

1. I don't get when people ask a question, why the answer isn't to the question they were asking. If they ask which MAGAZINE people recommend and people answer "the internet," it's like asking which soda do you like and saying eat a potato. OBVIOUSLY he's on the internet...it's where he's asking.

2. I'm not sure what "race scene" means. Does it mean gossip, lies, truth or information. And it's never easy to thumb through forums to find just general information. Magazines aren't INSTANT, but they can eliminate "fluff" of people talking and making stuff up. That's what the internet is for..answering a question with an answer not asked for.

We cover lots of races (more than any) and cover racing topics.

No. What people like to say is true is that becAuse companies pay for ads they. "buy" reviews. What being an advertiser gets you is priorty reviews and our attention. It's a customer. But if I was "paid" to do a review. I think everything would be perfect. And despite angry internet evangolists, most reviews do not say everything is perfect.

A negative attitude doesn't mean you are more truthful.
