Default Sts .21 Vs Picco .28

So the title kinda says it all, I'm buying a 2nd hand 1/8scale truggy and he asked me to choose the engine From a Picco .28 or an Sts .21, What do you guys think? which is the best engine?

Assuming it's in good condition, the Picco is the better engine. It is Italian made, and much more powerful than any STS .21. However, they can be a bit fuel hungry.

It's too much motor for a truggy so it's way too much motor for a buggy.

Are you racing?

It doesn't matter if your beginner........ if you plan to race eventually you'll have a hard time controlling all that power but if you just plan to bash get all the power money can buy.

.28 are usually illegal for buggy racing but if you're just bashing the Picco is a MUCH better motor and MO POWA
