so hard to say as there are many variables but usually a tad lean on low if after full throttle applied and engine revs up a little then idles normal in less than 3-4 seconds . if the engine idles up and then has a nice blubbery sounding idle for more than 3-4 sec. then it is usually rich with too large of an idle gap . too lean lsn leaves engines with tingy sounding idle and usually minor lean bog when running unless overcompensated with richer than normal hsn . like i said , could be one of many things though . like said before , sticky carb or linkage .
Monty i have done my home work i just replaced the orings in the carb today.. (a bit bigger with some greese on them) to prevent the lsn from creating the air leak
will test my progress tomorrow its to late to run a nitro here in the city.

well actually if i go wot and let off it will slow down like a jake break kinda thing its kind of funny to hear.... but it always returned to idle but thinking back yesterday while running it when i did slam on the breaks it brought it to an idle very quick.

now thats just bad.

My N21b makes that sound as well.

We have a chicane at the end of our straight that I coast into. Coasting after full throttle like that kind of makes it go: eeeeeeeeee, pop, pop, pop, eee

Usually means somethings a little lean or idle is set too high and its rich. But I can't richen my low end anymore, maybe I can richen the top 1 hr. The track has a short straight and is technical so my our tunes are a little odd. Big track but no power is really needed to get around it.

As long as my engine deosn't sig for no reason in the air, " wheeeeeee" sound, I'll let the weird coasting sounds slide.

its not like a lean bottom sound its just like it hesitates to drop down to idle sound like your slightly still on the throttle... should be fixed
but i dont think i am racing tomorrow anyways so i dont think it really matters.

i had that happen twice, you try to fatten the bottom but it goes from super lean to super fat for no reason. top is good but temps get high anyways. check the case where the mount screws go and see if there is "silver slime" around them. i cracked 2 cases on the left mounting wing.
