Not sure where ya'll are getting "Werks based".

Werks engines are contract built by Sirio.

The Fioroni engines are Picco mfg. except for the "Race 5-port" and "Rally 7-port"...which appear GRP based in terms of their carbs and castings. Unless Fioroni purchased the GRP mfg. equipment at some point (which considering the plant burned....) I don't see them being available any more.

The Picco based stuff came about back in '07

Fioroni has had the engine line for a couple of years now. I know for a fact they are made by Picco and come with Fioroni heads. Whether or not one or more of the Fioroni engines is/was made by GRP is something I will have to find out as I am not sure. I have tested the 3 port motor and it ran and tuned just fine. It was not the fastest motor but for the price it is reliable and fast enough. Like any other quality engine, if you don't know how to tune it, it won't run right and the blame usually goes to the manufacturer...
If there is enough interest in them, I can certainly bring them into the US, but with the plethora of engines on the market, I have kept them out.

Since someone brought it up, the manufacturing of Werks engines have nothing to do with Fioroni engines and vice versa except for the fact that Fioroni produced cooling heads for Werks a few years back.
