Default p6 or p3 plug

i put a p6 plug in my os 21. should i go back to the p3 plug or is p6 ok?

i run 20% 12 sidewinder fuel (for longgevity) and normally, when i dont have an ae tank issue my temps stay about 240. it is in a rc8t and i mostly club race but will be doing the pnb this year. just wondering

If your going to run 20% fuel I would go with the 20%10% not the 20%12%. You already are going to be looking for more power because your not running 30%. Have the higher oil % will increase your temps. In my Reedy I noticed it was a 20-25 deg difference from 30%12 to 30%10%.

i run the 20/12 for engine longevity. the speed is already more than i need so the 20/12 is doing fine right now. i was wondering about the plug because my temps went up after buying the plug, but it could have the been the good ol ae fuel tank leak. i should have stopped but was having to much fun!!!!

I started running os speed engines earlier this year and they are great engines. I like the p3 plugs best and they were designed for these engines. I personally run a 30% 11% mix from coldfusionfuel. My speed engines run best around 230-245 but as long as they perform well I am not afraid t run them at 260. By perform I mean good smoke out of the pipe no lean bog or fals lean high idle. The p3 plug is my fav.

Yes with the speed motor the P3 is the best. The normal V-Spec can get away with an OD 97T

You going to the Dalton race next weekend? I'm going to making the trip down from Chicago for that race.
