Pinch breaK-in?
I just had the p/s pinched on an OS V-spec, I also replaced the conrod and pin/clips. What is the general rule of thumb for breaking in a newly pinched motor? I'm assuming heat cycle but for how many tanks? Surely it wont take as long to re-break it in as a NIB motor.

It really depends how much your motor was pinched.
If it was a light pinch then I pre-heat my motor idle a couple tanks and go and run it.
If it was pinched to a like new condition then I would do the entire breakin method all over again.

The pinch doesnt seem super tight, once I mounted up the flywheel I was able to turn the motor over by hand. I guess I'll just idle a tank or two through and then run a couple more easy tanks and go from there.
