It has a great linear power curve that made my 2.0 much easier to drive than
with the +4. The K9 has plenty of power in all the right places and yes, top
end with the 086 pipe really suprised me!

The links were just for reference, I'm not overly worried about the cost. Right now the car is outdriving my skill Hopefully I get my mojo back in the next week or two.

You definitely will use less trigger and as a result get better mileage... And if you ever need to you can open her up and rundown whatever is in your way ! The JPX .21's pull like crazy !

I see in your sig that you have a re-11... I personally use that on my B5. I used it to break in the engine and with breaking it in i was getting 9 minutes a tank with the break in. I have never run it with a full race tune untill next weekend. (maybe) But the +4 is also a good engine. I have personally never raced with it before, so I'm not gonna be like most and say it's junk b/c I've never raced it. I've seen it run and it is a good engine.

But with the Werks engine (I know you said you've been on the forums) you get the GREAT customer service with the Werks from non other the the man himself Ron. What do you get from novarossi??? I honestly don't know. But I can guess you get info from other drivers. Can you trust them all??? yes and no...

With Werks it has proven itself pretty well with Kortz running it box stock(Like always) at the australian pro series race against Drake and did very well with it...


Just do some research and make the choice of engine that you really want to run

get a plus 4. you won't regret it.

I have been partial to novarossi for years. I have modded about every engine that has hit the market over the past 5 years and while there has been alot of great running engines, i have had the best luck with tunability and reliability of the Nova based engines. I have some screaming deals going on right now on the N21 Limited and P5XL/XLT's. The N21's are $140 stock and$200 out the door for the race ported version and the P5's are both $240 stock or $300 out the door race ported. Both engines after the race porting will perform as good or better than most stock .21's out right now. They will have smooth but strong powerbands putting more power to the ground more efficiently and will last into the 10 gallon range with a little care. I also have TKO ceramics available for $40 installed with the purchase of a mod package. I also have the new super strong Novarossi pipes in stock for $80 with the manifold of your choice! How is the runtime and power of this engine...comopared to other engines?

I recommend the new version p5xls. It's 250 dollars and it's been around for a while now. Nova engines just work and last a long time. I havent tried the 4 port, but the p5 has plenty of torque but the powerband is quick. Best on med tracks. no flames....
