The NCT race you have to come to is the Hank Perry 240 in Spokane Wa. It is the biggest race in the area and has alot of fast guys running including TP!!! It is on memorial day weekend every year.

Thank you everyone for the ideas! I will be doing as much as I can next year and I appreciate all the insight to these awesome events around the country!

I'm am a very lucky guy and found a good Soon-to-be-wife. She realizes that R/C is my job and just like my family supports me in everything I do!

I would love to go but honestly I don't think it can happen this year. Budget is being watched carefully and International events are going to be hard to come by. Possibly 2011!

I know you're not planning on attending due to the "other" big race

But I thought I'd post anyway, just in case you change your mind.

Ryan,

Unfortunately as you know Prairie City has shutdown. Hopefully we'll see you at the Delta, Indoor series in Antioch this winter. I believe NorCal is Electric 1/8 & 1/10 scale only. Cap City is 1/10 scale only.

The biggest and best race I went to this year locally was the Labor Day shootout at Phillip Atondo & John Scott's track in Marysville. It was a really well run race with a few of the top name pros and Jeremy Fellas announcing.. Although I'm sure fairly small compared to the larger races you've been to we'd really like to see you there!

Other than that for local practice & club racing you have Rescue, CVR, Delta & Rattlesnake in Redding... which I recently raced for the first time and really liked the layout and the dirt it's a fun track but about 3 hours north.

There are also a few tracks even further north like Paradise RC which is fun, Humbolt RC, and then to the East there is Carson City, and Reno...

Ryan, if you're in the upper Midwest, definitely consider paying a visit to the Madison Area R/C Car Association (MARRCA) in Madison, WI. We've got a dedicated group of very fun racers, and we race year-round, stadium trucks and Slashes on carpet in the winter, and 1/10 and 1/8-scale outdoor offoad in the summer. Last year, we hosted a round of the Midwest Nitro Series, and our biggest indoor event, the Carpet Challenge, is coming up Jan. 8th or 9th. We'd love to have you!
