Default 1/8 RC in Maryland?

I'll be working in the Baltimore area most of November and December and was wondering if there was a decent track up there. I'd assume it would need to be indoor so people didnt freeze to death

Try Nuclear RC in Parkton MD, just a stones trow north of Baltimore. Or 30 mins north in PA you can try bumps and jump indoor offroad.

Thanks for the info. "The man" has the internet on lockdown at work so the only track locators I could find came up with indoor touring and mini racing.

Is it possible to race outdoors during those months (rain)? I'm from southern CA, 65 degrees is getting cold for me Anything within an hour is fine by me

Absolutely. We race almost all winter unless below freezing temps or bad weather. There is also Blue Diamond in Delaware which is maybe 45mins from Balt. Hobby Hut in PA maybe an hour or so from Balt. maybe I'll see you trackside in the coming months.

AFAIK, Most of the outdoor tracks stop doing regular races in late Oct or early Nov. Is Nuclear an exception?

Bumps and Jumps is near Harrisburg PA... it would be about 1.5H from Baltimore. It's the only indoor place I know for sure this winter. But it's a small track (narrow) so 1/8 would be difficult, most people will be running 1/10th offroad stuff like slash spec class or 1/10 buggy. I will probably be running there this winter.

And for clarification, Blue Diamond would be about 1.5H... Hobby Hut about 2.5H. Nuclear R/C would be 30 minutes, Xtreme R/C in PA would be about 1.5H. But they are all outdoor, and AFAIK, do not have anything scheduled past early November.
