Does anyone know how the guy is doing that had the seizure on the track? I haven't seen anyone post about him.

I noticed he was alert when they took him off. One of the ladies who tended to time until the paramedics came said he had a history of seizures. We need to pray for them though.

His name is Brent Adkins he and his daughter Christina (Bossy) both race on our local scene. Last I heard he was out of the hospital and was home resting and doing well, said its been about 7 years since his last seizure.
Thank you to all that helped with this emergency and we hope he gets back to racing as brent is well liked and will be missed if he's not around.

Once again, personal opinion, but I do admit compared to last year it lookes like it was a better track surface, just did look very harsh with little room for mistake.

Thats a 10th or 18th scale track. Too narrow for 1/8th.

yo bobby is my boy but holy crap did somebody durirng the track build say "hey maybe we should shorten these up or make a few combinations of jumps" instead of making them full throttle runways like your flying planes.

in motor cross the piont is to get up and down fast by using the best combination of jumps

not

full throttle 60 footers

Guys, I gotta say this is somewhat of a crazy thread that detracts from the event and hard work put into it.

I understand guys broke some things but many more did not....guys of all levels. When you have a large event you can't really water it becasue then it's not the same for everyone, it takes up time, and so on, and so on.

The track also blows out, gets rough and then racers complain about that.

For a event that had 48 hours of straight running I am happy about how the track turned out. It stayed the same the entire time and only got better and better.

My car did great breaking nothing, although I did crack one case that can be expected when as a "racer" I over jumped a large jump and landed flat on such a hard surface.

The fix to that is land the down side...although it took some timing it was a 8 foot long landing and not one of your typical club event.

My buddy david who rarely over jumped had no issues the entire weekend.

I think a few things can be tuned on but for the most part that was a nice grooved track that was consistent the entire time. You would not want to mess that up by watering it, thats what you hope for in a indoor event. A nice black groove and some 4 and 5 deep trains rolling around the track

Not one jump was 60 feet or even close. Those were 20-30 feet jumps(the largest with huge landings...

They also had 8-12 feet down sides. How much bigger do we really need to make sure we make it?

Leon, largest jump is on the front area, and matched up to the drivers stand it's 30 feet tip to tip, large smooth take off, 8 foot landing pad.

I think that in the future since we know now that it's gonna be that hard we can drag the landings a little longer and higher...

we will fix it up guys

Like I said the track condition looked beast and to be in great condition, my main outside view was the layout. Hope I didn't offend anyone, wasn't my intentions. Just trying to give an outsiders view so maybe it will be looked at for next year. As you can see I'm not the only one, but I don't mind letting my voice be heard for many others. We will see what next year brings, maybe we can make it up there.

Idea, since we have a venue booked and a year to plan, anyway you guys could put together 3-4 different track layouts, post them on here and let the racers vote on what track they would like to race, make it a poll or something. Like I said just an idea, but would be a pretty awesome thing, might get more people involved also.
