Default V-SPEC questions for the OS pro's

im strictly a novarossi guy so any help is appreciated..
getting this used for free from a friend who knows nothing about it(received in a big lot of stuff he aquired,so all i know is its very clean).
ok questions...
what os turbo plugs are recommended using byrons 30% in fall/winter conditions?
is an extra shim required for the above?
will the speed rod work in the vzb v-spec?(i just may rebuild it with new tko's and a pinch if needed).
also i have a few extra pipes-jp3,sirio 2013,nova 9886,ofna hyper 9 kit pipe, so which one of these will work the best or should i just spring for a used os 2050?
also any v-spec demons i should know about other than cracked blocks?
thanks much fellas

P3 plugs.
No extra shims
Speed rod is prefered
JP-3 is your best option of yr pipes. But 2050/2060 are better

I have an old 2050 pipe. I'll be honest, not the best shape. But it is still a 2050. There is a dent near the end of it. I have compared its performance to my new one, and its still vary similar. I'll ship it to ya for $25 if you want it. I can also send pics.

Agreed with above, except JP3 has alway worked best for me. I have been running a Vspec for many years and never had a cracked block. Easiest engine to tune and to hold a tune.

Unsober1: He said he has the 2050, but i guess thats why you are unsober

The JP-3 is a good combo for fuel milage and power. But if you use the OS pipe, there are slight increase in mid for the 2050 and high end for the 2060. You can hear it in the running of the motor

But it is very hard to dis the V-spec as it is used as the standard for which all / most race motors are based from. Atleast that is my opinion

the jp-3 is ok, great power, fuel hog though. 2050 is the best pipe for this engine, great fuel consumption and power. you can also get the RE-11 from losi, it is a copy of the 2050 but for only $65.00.
