avid bearings
great company no doubt. I just bought 20 wheel bearings, but didn't realize that they were revolutions. It has rubber shielding on one side and metal shielding on the other.
I am sure they will be fine. But did i make a mistake? I will put the rubber side facing towards the car. |
aw cmon dreaux - why you ask questions you obviously know the answer to?
yes - rubber facing the dirt.... |
the yellow or rubber side goes to the out side like
on your hubs the yellow sides will be facing out |
Rubber is what you want, helps keeps the dirt out.

i know guys. I am a little compulsive sometimes. Just like to make sure:cool:

Dreaux, you need to make you way down to the Nitro Open here in Scott.
|
Ya and they even work underwater too just in case you were wondering. I'm not sure ifthey are fire proof though.
|
Nitro Open what is that....:D
Yep it will not be one to miss. |
+ 1 on the Revolutions.
Amazing bearings. I use them all around except the clutch on my Losi (TKO Ceramics in the Clutch). The 1/2 x 3/4 that Losi uses on the Inner Hubs always blows out!! I won't even mention the 8x14's on the outer Hub. I switched to the Revolutions mainly because the Losi Bearings were like $12 for 2, but now I'm convinced as I just did my 1st Gallon Bearing change on the Revolutions and the 1/2 x 3/4 were just like new. No grit or slop in the bearing!! And all I do is clean the car (simple green) and use compressed air I never open or re-oil the bearings. Thats bad ass for $1 in my book. |
