I have a great 10 yr. relationship, it goes like this....Yes dear you are right as always and those jeans make your a-s look so cutsie. and I promise you I can go to any track as much as I want to for as long as I want to.But i also work all the time and never have to ask her for any money. I am very lucky to have a great partner. She never wants to go to the track either.

well got ryans engine done

definitely in no way a warranty issue by no means , carb was at 4.75 turns out on top and low speed needle at 5 turns out on low speed . these engines and the newer cavity carb dont run worth a poop at this type of setting . thats where the flame outs were coming from . as far as the buttplate ...........well , where do i start . lets just say pliers do not belong on butt plates and um one reason i say that if you dont think you should work on your own engine , dont

pics later

not gonna bag on ryan but this falls in the category of people who want something for nothing . i am putting my name on this engine and can say without a doubt that it is good to go .

there will be a surprise to follow ...............stay tuned

also remember , if you take engines apart and try to work on them but dont really understand what you are doing then you shouldn't be doing it

Off topic, just a quick question since you are so active on this thread. What temp is "safe" for a BF?

between 250-260° is pretty typical to make killer power and not ruin engine longevity

Greatness, I'm right there then. Mine isn't one of your engines, it is Hotmods...

Wow, what a pain to break in, but only 3/4 gallon and it is already all I need. I was worried at that temp range (I'm used to VSPECS temping 220 or so) that I was going to cause it to die a quick death... now I feel better. That's where it seems to want to run, so...

Thanks much for the info.

How in the world did he scatch up the inside of that block like that?????

I could hardly do that on purpose.

Maybe the back plate was hard to get on and off because it was covered in sand/ metal chunks/ quartz/ TAG body spray/ dirt??

bkfirebirds engine building license revoked.
