I have been running them for 2 years and have not had one single wheel round out. The biggest thing is to make sure your wheel nuts are tight before every run.

Or perhaps the motor is too powerful

I switched to some JC Subcultures for the main and while they didn't have as much grip (soft vs super-soft may have had something to do with it) they did get me through 15 minutes with no noticeable wear.

On the plus side the glue job was very good and only a few spots needed attention after two qualifiers. The JC premounts I bought didn't last 5 minutes before re-gluing was necessary. I'm willing to give them another shot, but it'll be on some OD wheels.

mthird the condors in ultra work awesome. If you were using subcultures and axeman the condors should be dialed.

Where you using a Losi? The Losi wheel hexes are not threaded far enough in so when you tighten the nut and try to take the wheel nut off the hub spins in the wheel. When I bought a Losi in Jan I stripped every wheel I put on when I tried to take them off. I then started putting a 2mm wrench in the outdrives before lossening the nuts and ended up breaking a rear CVD in half! That is how tight the Losi wheel nut locks on with the thin light weight VP-Pro wheels. I replaced the Losi wheel hubs with Mugen hubs and never had a problem again.

The only other time I stripped a wheel in the last 2 years is in a 30 min A-main event when one of my nuts loosened up and spun the wheel hub but that happened dozens of times when I was sponsored by Proline.

Have any of you tried the UF Condors yet? I grabbed a set yesterday because they have such a unique tread pattern I just had to try them. What track surface are they best on?

Hey James, I've ran them on hard pack and loamy both and they work good.... I like the bigger footprint carcass they have. Be careful they do have a lot of sidebite and will traction roll sometimes

SRS used to be the only show in town. Then it was just SRS and The Nitro Pit. In the last 2 years 9 more tracks opened and they are all drawing racers. Kenny Brosch has been doing an awesome job of organizing racing here. We are now considered RC Mecca Whats even better is that they all work together so we have traveling point series and they try to schedule club races on different days so they dont take racers from each other. AZ is the place to be for Off road RC racing for sure. I am sure Cali has more tracks but they are spread out over a 12 hour drive. From my house I can get to any of the 11 within 2 hours. We are blessed here, but its very expensive to keep up with all the racing. Most of us go through 1-2 cases of fuel a month. I hope all you get to come visit some day. You can race 4 times during a weeks vacation

Agreed with tony on the condors. I have ran them on high bite coarse tracks and loamy tracks. I like the way they lock the rear end in! Only thing is they do wear pretty fast on the high bite.

Will the sc tires be for sc10 wheels?
