Buy goof Off in a spray (home depot) can form another good option would be too buy a wrap save time and headaches.

Dont use nitro fuel too expensive and not worth the time.

So yeah, brake fluid is a better choice than nitro. The nitro does not seem to haze or damage the lexan. How does the brake fluid method turn out? And what did you do if you have experience Soak a rag and rub off or soak the body for so long then peel and rinse it off or what?
I just happen to have extra brake fluid sitting around so it would be perfect use for it!

You have to soak the body in it and then rub the paint away. It worked well for me, you just have to take your time. Here's a more detailed video..

forgive me if i sound dumb, but if you're gonna paint it anyway, why not just rough up the old stuff and paint over it? i use krylon paint for plastic, and it holds pretty well without even sanding....

edit, now i see why (after looking at the vid) the paint has to be removed. personally id just paint the outside....

Thanks for the link. Jeez, I think I could paint a body a solid color or even a simple two color blend like I already have quicker than it takes to scrub all that crap off I think I'll stick with touching mine up. That looks like waaaaay too much scrubbing

Default Don't use acetone!

I tried it on a cheap assed body I bought on ebay and it softens the plastic a lot!. Kinda ruined it.

My thoughts exactly. I bought an Illuzion body from Jconcepts for my 8Ight-t 1.0 for 30 bucks or so. and could have bought an OEM body for 20. My ebay body ended up being a practice beater with tape and stickers all over it to hold it together.
