I tried the brake fluid method yesterday on a new body I had laying around that I messed up the paint on. I had to let it soak for about an hour and it took a little elbow grease using a scotch brite, but all in all it was really easy and fairly painless. I dont think I would do it to an old body but if you mess up a paint job and need to strip it this works really well. Oh it washed off easy too and it is the only method I have used that did not cloud the body.

That looks like a real PIA. I think I would just spend the $30.

bodies are expendable, so if you mess up a paint job, just sticker it up and forget it.

That's why a good body painter is worth his weight in gold! If that statement is true, then I'm priceless!
