Default Mixing silicone oils

Hi.

If you have 1 amount of viscosity 500 oil and 1 amount of 1000 oil: Will that mix be a viscosity 750?
Or is mixing silicone oils not linear?

Thanks in advance

Mixing oils is not linear. Here you can find a calculator to see how oils should be mixed.

Use that one often?

It seems http://www.gesilicones.com doesn't exist anymore.

GE was bought out some time ago. When this happened, the new Co changed everything so that link no longer works.

think of it like mixing paint. You won't get the exact same color the next time you try it again

Hi Speedy.

Yeps.

I can get 5000 and 350 oil for free. That's why I wanted to know how to mix it

Thanks again
