Default Whats the unofficial code?

What is the ruling on driving a nitro vehicle in public areas? Like say I just want to show a friend, would it be a bad idea to go out and drive it in the yard/street?

How loud are nitro vehicles(8ight 2.0)?

They are fairly loud however I don't know of any laws or statutes that prevent you from running your car. I would just be considerate when it comes to times and where you drive i.e., don't tear up their yard, and you should be OK.

You can even use it as an RC recruiting tool because you will garner attention.

Just drive it when your neighbor is weedwhacking his yard or using his gas driveway blower...same noise levels. It's just the up and down the street at full throttle for 2 hours that gets the neighbors pissed. Go to the schoolyard, or the empty church parking lots and you will be fine.

I drive all my rcs infront of my house. You will seriously be surprised how many people come over to talk to you about them. Most people are more amazed than annoyed. Once it gets dark i stop though.

You all are lucky! I have a neighbor down the street that works at night thus sleeps during the day and If I try to run for even 2 minutes in the street she's up in a huff asking me to keep it quiet!!

+1 on church and school parking lots
