What would be better for bashing? 8ight 2.0 or 8ight-T 2.0

I am going to order a 1/8th nitro this week, but I need to decide between the Truggy or the Buggy.

Which would make a better basher and why?

Also, I noticed that most of the tires for 1/8th are mainly track tires. Are there any tires for the B or T that have a bit more tread and would be better for non-track?

Thanks,
Coby

i would say the losi truggy cause of the ground clearence and thier stronger
and they arent that much slower than a 1/8 buggy ,1/8 buggy i woulnt bash with them dued to thier ground clearence and they will brake easier, dont know about a basher tires reallly for truggy

Aren't that much slower? Around here they are significantly faster than buggy. I've heard the same about a lot of areas.

Definitely truggy for bashing.

the buggies and truggies aren't really made for bashing. they are made for racing. id say get a monster truck or something along the lines of that for bashing IMO.

I hate monstor trucks and I want something 1/8th, powerful, durable and potentially raceable.

Neither.

HPI Savage.

If you want to bash or race...pick one or the other.

Truggy will win hands down for general use; larger tires and more ground clearance always wins.

8ight-t 2.0

bash for awhile, then put it on a track and you'll be hooked:sneaky:

Ill be bashing at first, but later next spring I am going to try to race.

What are some tires for truggies that have a lot of tread?

Truggy forsure.

elkman 09-22-2009 07:07 AM

Not bashers

I have a LOsi 8ight -truggy 1.0 and it is a racer. Traxxas is made for bashing

AndrewClaycomb 09-22-2009 07:19 AM

Once you start racing, you won't even consider bashing. Bashing is fun for about 30 seconds.
