Default >>> CAR BROKEN INTO IN SAN ANTONIO, TX - 9/18/09 - 5 CARS STOLEN <<<

I know this isn't the right place for it but I want as many people to see as possible...

Got a phone call from Nick this morning letting me know that somebody broke into his vehicle while at a restaurant last night in San Antonio, TX before the TX State Pro-Series race.

Good thing (if that makes sense) is they only took 5 cars and a tire bag full of AKA tires.

This is what was taken:

Jason Branham:
Xray XT8 '09 Spec Truggy w/ O.S. Speed and KO radio gear (has those silver KO servo cases)
Xray 808 '09 Spec Buggy w/ Max Power M5B and KO radio gear (has those silver KO servo cases) (this car will be very easy to spot as it has a PROTOTYPE CHASSIS)
Both have mustard yellow bodies and black wings

Nick Vanderpool:
Xray XT8 '09 Spec Truggy w/ Max Power M5B and KO radio gear (has those silver KO servo cases)
Xray 808 '09 Spec Buggy w/ BRAND NEW O.S. Speed 2 and KO radio gear (has those silver KO servo cases)
Xray 808 '09 Spec Electric Buggy w/ Tekin RX8 Speedo/Motor combo
All have Silver/Orange/Yellow bodies and yellow wings

Please send any info you may come across.
PM or email me: [email protected]

I appreciate your help in advance!

I feel your pain. I got 5 complete cars stolen out of my car 3 years ago. Ironically they left my airtronics radio sitting right in the middle of my hatchback?

Hopefully a transponder is found. Other than the chassis thats the only way the car can be identified. Thats what the cops told me.

Did it seem like a smash and grab or did it look like they knew what they were after. Most Rc thefts like this allways seem to be someone from the track/shop/race.

Don't forget to check Craigslist.

Welcome to Texas.

Xray must be the car of choice for Texass thieves My 808 was stolen from my truck in Dallas while at a race in December at Indy Rc. XB808, OS Speed, JR 9100's, Lipo, Custom body, AKA City Blocks, 2060 pipe, Spektrum Pro receiver, Blue Truggy Starter box w/Lipo, and Personal Transponder number 3113923!! I filed a police report with Dallas PD and when I told the detective what it was worth, she snickered like I was joking around Gotta love Texass!!
