I have been looking at getting a new Nitro RC. I have a lot of beaches around me with a lot of fun sand dunes to tear up. Im looking for a reliable basher that I can have fun with. Please help me find a good overall truck to bash with. Price really isnt a factor. PLEASE HELP! Thanks in advance to everyone that responds!

If I was you I would go with the traxxas Revo it is a great truck to bash around and there are a lot of hop up and good part support.

try the ansmann terrier.comes complete but you will have to down load the engine tuning instructions.
i have just run mine in and having a blast, the engine is a force 21 3port two needle pull start but great motor with heaps of power, holds tune well ,radio gear is included but use a hump pack for stronger steering controll and better reliability.i live on the coast and not having any troubles with sand in my truggy, just a suggestion to look at

+3 on the HPI Baja 5b or 5t if money is no object. Aside from the fact that these things are huge and a blast to drive, they are also gasoline engines which are far more reliable and much easier to run than nitro.
If you get one, post some vid!
As others said, the alternative RTR would be a Revo 3.3 or an HPI Savage XL. With paddle tires in the sand they would be great fun.

T-maxx on sand dunes is great. Just about every LHS carries parts. I do alot of 1/8th scale raceing but I still love to take my T-maxx on some sand dunes in the summer or run it in the snow in the winter. I beat the heck out of it. Yea I break stuff sometimes but thats just an excuse to buy another hop-up.
Revo is a little more race-oriented even as far from a race vehicle as it is. BTW there is noting better you can do for either of these trucks then to buy an OS .21 TM

The baja is awesome! I have been contemplating on that one for awhile, but i'd like to stay under $1000. I know I said price isnt an option, but I didnt expect a $1000 truck! lol. What are your guys' thoughts on a Losi LST XXL? I like the 4 wheel drive, and has a really nice Spektrum radio with telemetry. Neat feature! Or how about an 8ight T 2.0 RTR? Would it make a good basher, or would it be to low to the ground? Thanks for all the help!
