That is new to me. I have been running OS for a long time and never heard of that many gallons on any OS Engine, I race 2 - 3 times a month from March to September. This year I started with a brand new O.S. Speed .21 VZ-B V-Spec II 08/09 Worlds Edition and with all of the racing I have done, Im at about 7 gallons and that engine is shot. And yes I take care of my engines. so 16 gallons is good no bearing change, no pinching, all I can say is WOW

myrcbox.com has a review of a blue head v-spec that ran for 20 gallons with a rod and bearing change.

Default gallons

I read that article a few months back. I believe he said he always ran it a little fat and only ran 20% but it was still running before the rod and piston change.

WS7T L2G with 7 gallons, runs the same as ever. Internals are just as good as new. I had to replace the front bearing at one point, but that's it.
