Receiver battery care NiMh
Should the battery be discharged after each time it is used? I used them almost every weekend, or at most every two weekends. I am using NiMh batteries and now have a nice charger that can dischage and i can chose the rate at which it discharges. Thats brings me to the 2nd question. At what rate should they be discharged ?

As for the discharge rate, its whatever you want it to be. Preferred would be anywhere from 1-5 amps depending on the charger

What's the nominal Voltage before the charger stops discharging it? Thanks!

it depends on your setting really, but if i were you i would not let it go beyond .9 per volt, so if its a 5 cell receiver pack then dont go below 4.5 volts total pack voltage. personally i dont discharge my rx pack and they last a long time. just make sure when you feel the servo weaken, stop the car, disconnect the pack, let it cool then charge it.
