Default Dirt in Screws

Hey guys im trying to clean my buggy right now but there seems to be some dirt inside the actual screw hole. How do you guys go about getting it out so the screwdriver will fit in it? The hole is filled with dirt. Let me know ASAP. Thanks

Safety pin, skinny nail, paperclip. I have a pick and hook set that I got from Harbor Freight that works well.

One thing you can do before using the pointed tip is to take a wet rag and wipe the exposed surface of the screw head. The dirt soaks up the water in the rag and it makes the dirt even easier to clean out.

After digging it out be sure to flush the rest of it out with some WD40 or such

if you pick up a 4 pack up picks at wal-mart you will be surprised how many things you can find to use them for. They make easy work of a lot of RC task.
wrist pin clip removal, e-clip removal, exhaust springs, dirt removal to name a few.

the 4 pack has 1 straight, 1 90 degree, 1 hook and 1 squiggly.
