Default project four stroke..

ok guys any of you that keep up with us on backwoodsrc.com know we are always trying somthing crazzy... i am working on a xxx-nt fourstroke... i have the gearing figured out... now the fun part... engine?? maybe an older os or a mid $ rage new engine... pull start? help me out guys... thanks

Deosn't OS still make a .26 fourstroke for cars? Was used primarilly in .12 touring cars.

is that the one you were thinkin about.. any other engine types?

Brian Skinner (Skinny) came to MN last weekend to race the X-Fest. He brought along a 4 stroke GT2. It was the O.S. .26 with custom intake manifold and custom exhaust. I drove it for a few laps and I was pretty impressed. Lots of bottom end and good top end. The only problem with it was the conversion used an aluminum clutch bell gear for a on-road car and the gear got chewed up fast. Other than that issue it was very impressive.

Oh so Skinny was driving it....i heard about it but was curious as to who's it was....ive met the guy who does the kits up in Alberta....pretty cool to say the least.

He built that thing back in '06. I remember him showing it of at the Lewiston WA. RC Pro race back then.

ya the kit who did the kits unveiled it at the Canadian Winter Nats 06 i think.
