I thought that was an option part. Does the 2.0 come with the center diff? Anything else?

and also if you were gonna end up getting the 2.0 chassis, id say look into the BCE 2.0 chassis. its not made by losi but i hear its better than losi's 2.0 chassis. there is a forum on here for their product and reviews on there.

I thought the spindles and spindle carriers were the same onthe 2.0 & 1.0.

As for the chassis check out bce they have an awesome chassis. If I was to do anything all I would do is buy a bce chassis and 2.0 rear drive shaft. Run the rest. I know a guy that did the chassis upgrade to his 1.0 and it bade a huge improvement.

When you get the 2.0 chassis make sure that you get the drop srews that go into the chassis you will need them. When I bought my chassis I did not no I needed them and it made my droop way off.

8ight carriers and spindles are different than 8ight 2.0 spindles and carriers. there are a few differeances including plastics as well as geometry i believe. on the 2.0 carrier there is a half moon grub screw at location where the suspension arm attaches to the carrier.

Jhipps. I know you are wanting a 2.0 for performance as well as to be up to par with the latest equipment etc...although with the differences between the 1.0 and 2.0 you will not notice that they are much different at our level of driving. i would simply suggest to wear out the parts you have with the 1.0 and upgrade to a 2.0 complete car when the 1.0 wears out. maybe just grab a bce chassis and 2.0 towers and move on. if tuned correctly the 1.0 will perform every bit as well as a 2.0 out of the box new at our level the 1.0 race roller will be equal to the 2.0 race roller new in box. with the 8t & 8t2 they are very different with more than subtle changes.

I almost chimed in last night right after you opened the thread although i waited. im sure you already have most the stuff to convert and you will have your 2.0 built soon. most of all when completed you will have piece of mind which might make the best driver the best. good luck
