Default What steps do I need. Burns sat for 7 years

I have an old Kyosho Burns. I had a new O.S. RX-B put into it, ran 4 tanks and that was it. There it sat for years...
What steps should I do right off the bat.... Flush tank and lines?
ummm... I have no idea really..
Thanks
Tony

Get new fuel and use it flush everything out. I would take backplate off and clean it out as well. Check glow plug and if it is good I would fire it up.

Most likely all rubber parts are rotted out & oils/grease broken down. Also, unless you stored that engine indoors, clean and oiled it before storage, you most likely need to take it aprats and clean it out if its not gummed up. Good luck finding parts though if you need any.

Hiya Tony,

If you're keen to race, I'd suggest you sell me the Burns and buy yourself a MP9.
If you just want a spin around the yard, just clean the engine (there might be a lot of brown gunk... it's castor oil) with alcohol, put in your electronics, stick in new solicon fuel tubing and you're off!

vroom vroom!
