Unhappy Help with nova 21+ 4?

I just got my new 21+4 and the fuel inlet is backwards, facing the head. It says that you must close needle all the way and also change the metal rings that seal it. Is this the way that it must be done, or could you just crack it enough to turn it and then be on your way?? This stinks want to run this thing but not sure with this issue. Thanks for any help.

Theres no reason you cant loosen it and place it in the direction you need. Just make sure its snug and not leaking afterwards.

We change the direction of the High speed nipple all the time. Just do not overtighten it when you lock it back down, or you will strip the carb threads
