+1 You can't beat a full aluminum case, and the power of these servos is amazing.

I just installed a pair of HVS in my 2.0 buggy. I am going to a big gnarly offroad track tomorrow. I will chime in on my experiences. Bench racing, they seem really smooth and fast as hell.

So far 2 race days in the truggy and one in the buggyand no issues at all just great solid performance. And they are pretty to look at.

My buddy I race with every weekend has 6 or them. 4 torques and 2 speeds. I think they all have been sent back at least once. He bought them, actually he had them backordered when they first said they were coming. He is one of those guys that just likes to say he has the best money can buy! lol All servos were run in a mbx6t and was mostly the throttle servo going bad each time. I know what everyone will say, he doesn't have the throttle linkage right. Trust me it's right. He put on a hitec 7955 about 2 weeks ago and it has worked fine. The jr's he couldn't get a full race day from.

No problems with those here, neither HVS nor HVT, great servos.

All servos will fail eventually. I have had a few friends that have sent some in on warranty which JR replaced with no hassel. This is same with other manufacturers also. I personnally like them.

Do they drain your lipo faster than, say, an ACE 1015 and 1313, regulated?

I have noticed that they drain the lipo about the same. On sat I did 15-20 min of practice or so and 3 - 5 min qualifiers and and the lipo took 650 mah. OrigionLly I thought they drained the lipo faster but the lipos took a few charges to come to life.

I have been running mine since the day they came out and I haven't had any issues thus far. I am running 2 Torques in my Truggy and a Torque and a Speed in my buggy (Speed for Throttle/Torque for Steering). These are definitely the best servos on the market right now.

your not going fast enough for them to mess up....
just kidding....
it seems with these servos that they either mess up right from the beginning or they are as solid as they get... I know of one race that jsut recently happened that 5 of them messed up within 2 guys....and these werent rookies but also I have seem some guys that are professional durability testors and have no issues at all..
just what I have seen..
