Default Throttle servo help

What do you guys think is the best throttle servo for the losi 1.0 buggy? I was thinking of getting the hitec 7955tg but that has to much torque and I should be looking more into a speed servo. Which servo should I get?

I prefer speed because you can always dial it down if you dont like it but if it feels sluggish there isnt anything you can do about it.

I myself ran a jr 9100 s in my 1.0 for a year before i moved it to my 2.0 which i still have in it and have never had any porbs with it at all. and has nice torque and is fast. 180oz of torque and .06 sec / 60 degrees @ 6V. thats just my 2 cents. im not saying that its the best or worst just what i ran with and very happy with .

Hitec's 7955 would work well for the throttle, i know many locals whos run it aswell.

My airtronics 94357 just took a dump so im out to buy a 7955 today,
same as i run with my steering

If i use 2 of the hitec 7955tg servo, what hump pack or lipo battery should i get? Sorry if im asking to many questions but i wanna get thing that worth buying.

No such thing as too many question's.....(well except for Draux)

i personally would get a 2nd 7955 and be done with it.....for batteries its up to you...i run small 900mah lipo's i get for DIRT cheep on ebay...but they wont go a full day of racing...so i bought 8 of them 4 for bug 4 for trug....i would much rather have multiple smaller packs then 1 large pack as thing's happen with lipo's and when the pack says enough they are not safe to run anymore...so i just toss the pack and use a new one....5$ a pack shipped...i cant complain.

I agree with token. JR 9100T on steering and 9100S on throttle. 3 year warranty and great performance.

I run an Orion 1600mAh NiMH receiver pack. Good for about 1 hour of run time with that servo combination and a personal transponder. I've run 3-4 practice tanks, 3 qualifiers and a 20 minute main without charging. The 4 x 1 hump pack is a tight squeeze in the Losi battery box, but doesn't slide around.

I personally like a fast throttle servo. The jr9100s is the best. I have tried to liv with a 7965 and it will do in a pinch but in the truggy the faster the better. I am still getting use to my buggy so I can't say too much about the throttle servo in the buggy. I am using jr's new high volt servos and I love them. The hitec stuff is nic but jr has them beat in the bling dept. All alum case and all metal gears, not just a few metal gears. I am liking the jr hvs & hvt so far we will see how they look in 6 months of hard racing.
