the hyper 7 tq buggy is a decent buggy. my brother runs one and it performs well. but if u get one, as soon as u get it, buy a starter box and throw away the pull start. its almost impossible to pull the engine over when breaking it in with the pull start lol. but overall its a real nice buggy. its been pretty durable so far as well.

The picco is more of a bashing buggy and the tq is a entry level club raceing buggy. It's able to bash like the picco but it does offer you ablity to race it without adding a ton of money to get it up to entry level specs. My brother and two budies of mine own the tq's and it can hang with alot of the other buggies of there. Get rid of the pull starter, pick up a box stater or even a roto starter for it( which both require different backplates) Box starter probly your best bet. Heres a image of one of my buddies tq's

i ran a hyper 7 for a while and it was a real tuff buggy and i really liked it but i like the picco to it has 16mm big bores comes with a descent mill but i really dont think you could loose either way i was going to get my son one but i give him my losi and got a d8 but i would to a little research on both the tq is a nice buggy but i like the picco as well good luck choosing and happy racing.

Hyper 7 is a good buggy. I just replaced mine with an 8ight wich is nicer but the hyper 7 was pretty good for me.

I was reading the tests in some back issues that i have of both cars and while the hyper has a little more race oriented chassis, The picco has has the Bigbore shocks and according to the test specs on speed and acceleration, the Picco is the dominate motor. I was looking at them both a little while back thinking of buying on and I was going to go with the Picco.
Parts for MB based chassis are cheap and easy to come by.

Hyper 7 black is a great starter car.
