ive seen a lot of these out of the box winning at my local tracks. and about the servo deal. i think if u set the epa right and make sure the servo doesnt pull the throttle slide no more than 100% of throttle whole, you wont fry them. and the engine that comes in it is great! very fast for an RTR

its the 2.0 steering racks that caused the issue. they have a running changed. but no this doesnt break much at all

The servos are pretty awful, my steering servo's gears stripped out after a few laps at the track. The engine makes a ton of power after the first gallon of fuel has been through it but it vapor locks easily. The radio has lots of features and I really like it, but my RPM/Speedo sensor doesn't work or it was installed incorrectly from the factory. I can't comment on the starter box because I already had a dual motor Ofna box so I never even fired up the Losi. (It's still sitting in its packaging.)

With all of that said, I love this buggy. It handles great, jumps great, my LHS carries every part for it, and most of the local racers have 8ights so if something breaks somebody will likely have a spare part.

The vapor lock thing sucks but as long as I don't let it run out of fuel, I don't have a problem. I'm going to start carrying compressed air with me so I can cool the carb quickly if necessary though. When it comes time to replace it, I may just go with another one depending on how many gallons I get out of it. And the only telemetry I use is temp and voltage, so I haven't even bothered with the RPM/Speedo.
