Starterbox motors.
Hi.
Is it possible to replace a 550 motor to a 775 motor? Does the 775 fit the mounting and will the pulley from the 550 motor fit the 775?
Thanks in advance

Yes of course, noR.
The thing is, that it is not my starterbox that's has issues
I'll keep you posted what progress we'll get

Update:
It was not the motor, that wasn’t strong enough.
I borrowed the starter box this summer (Hyper box). First time I tried to start a RB .21 engine, it was no good due to a defect switch (when you press down the car). An electrician at my job modified the switch, and it worked very well in the period of time I had it.
Now, the switch surface has become black again with the result, that the starter motor sometimes has lower RPM depending on the way you press down the car.
I’ve just bought a second hand starterbox (Team Magic) where the switch surfaces it worn out too. Instead of the bloody switch surfaces I have put on 2 x 5Ah/250 Volt micro switches, that turns on a 2 switches 16 Ah/ 250 Volt relay. I hope that will do the job, but I still needs 2 x 7,2 volt racing packs to test how it work out when I shall start an engine.
