I think it's a simple matter of how you maintain them. i've been using pro-line filtesr and have had no problems but I also clean mine often and make sure I put the pre-filter and actual filter on correctly.

i have had the same prob with a few different filters proline included but i found i was over oiling them i simply used less oil they were still coated nicely but the proplem went away if you choke them with oil they are gonna suck it down

The air filter set up from the Losi 8ight or 8ight 2.0. They're the same thing.

Thanks, I just don't like the fact that the AE filters are 5 bucks a pop.
