Default 4s lipo in the 8 2.0 RTR starter box?

Is anyone else doing this or will it fry the motor?

Also, does anyone here know if the Flightmax Rx lipo will fit in this buggy?

Thanks,
Evvy

a 4s lipo is just like 2 stick packs. When i ran losi with the old losi box, the lipo battery was the best investment i made.

just put a 4 cell in the rtr box and it works great, I'll never go back to nmh batteries in one....

The battery in that link is to big, here is the size for the lipo that will fit..

Cool, because I already have a decent 4s 2000 here.

As far as Rx battery, I can't seem to find any dimensions on this Associated 2100mah 2s pack. It's a pretty good deal at $30 but again, I don't know if it will fit.
