OS speed loose front engine bearing

Wondering how loose the front engine bearing is suppose to be.

Mine seems TOO loose. tip the engine and it just falls out of the case with out the crankshaft in there.

never been changed.. original steel bearing.. dont' see any cracks on the crank but could be hairline that I can't see. guess I just get a Ninja crankcase.

I have new TKO bearing as well and it's the same just falls right out

man...

I have seen it a few times. I put a tiny amount of blue lock tight on it but only if you are sure it is not cracked. If cracked you should be able to look in and see a crack.

Case is done. Typical OS case. All i can say is Good luck, i had 3 go bad, all within a gallon. Was no happy losing 2 vspecs, and a speed.

I have a JX that is the exact same way........... if there isnt a flywheel on it you better keep it in a baggy and keep a close eye on the bearing or its a goner........... Mine runs fine in fact its the best running motor I have with over 9 gallons on it, original rod/p/s........ 3rd set of bearings though.......... if it doesnt cause any tuning issues run it...........
